  • Abstract
In servo-writing with perpendicular recording, we have clarified that quality deterioration of the servo signal occurs in specific magnetized media. The key point is that the flux flows through the writer to the reader. For this study, we specifically investigated servo-write quality and servo performance and found that the erasing conditions strongly affected the servo-write quality, especially in the reading process.
