Abstract :
In this paper, we demonstrate the fundamental functionality of the tunable filter, which is composed of a 1D-PC microcavity embedded with a polymer. We qualitatively evaluated the resonant-peak shift caused by the thermo-optical (TO) effect. In this demonstration, the temperature of the sample was regulated with a thermo-electric module, which controls the temperature precisely. The aim of our qualitative study was to determine the relationship between the temperature and resonant wavelength
