Abstract :
This paper bases on the study V. Caselles and others, analyses the color image contrast enhancement in color image distortion caused by the reasons, & put forward to maintain the shape of an improved color enhancement. Improved algorithm can maintain the original color image using level set of information as the brightness component of gray image, and gain an improved image for the gray to maintain the shape of contrast enhancement, and finally with the original color components of color image enhancement after the re-constituted color images. Experimental results show that the improved algorithm can also enhance the color better than the existing methods to avoid distortion of the shape and color.
