Abstract
There are several levels of software (i.e. flight software) performance testing in spacecraft development. For example, unit test, integration test and system test. Especially the integration test is one of the key phases because in this phase the flight software performance with respect to HW and SW compatibility is validated. Also throughput analysis shall be performed at the integration test level. To mitigate schedule burden for performing the integration test, an approach using a simulation test bed in the integration test is regarded as enhanced and cost effective way. Also potential technical risk can be minimized through the early detection of software problem with regarding to the HW compatibility especially thanks to the simulated test bench. In this paper, an approach to the development and use of simulated software test bench in flight software of spacecraft application is present with respect to further geo-satellite program.
