Abstract :
Technology has a huge impact on healthcare organizations that allows the execution of processes in an efficient manner. However in the developing countries that are yet to adopt the different technologies on a large scale, it becomes imperative for them to adopt the right technologies depending on the predicted usage. As most of the developing countries are growing rapidly, the technology usage patterns of developed countries will help them make the right technology decisions. In this paper we study the technology usage patterns in developed countries for small, medium, and large healthcare institutions. The institutions are classified as small, medium, and large based on the number of beds, number of physicians, or the number of nurses.
