  • Abstract
    A new algorithm which aims to realize image enhancement was proposed. In view of regional correlation among adjacent pixels, it uses wavelet transform to decompose the image and fractional difference equation to construct differential operator, then obtains the enhanced image through computing with wavelet coefficients. It also analyzes influences with different levels of wavelet transform and different steps of fractional differential, and makes a contrast with other image enhancement algorithms. The experiment shows that the algorithm in this paper is better than the classic algorithm.
