  • Abstract
    To improve efficiency and decrease tail gas emissions of hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), feasibility of using a battery with super capacitor in HEV system was studied. Full-digital boost DC-DC converter was used to transfer energy from super capacitor (SC) to motor through DC bus when HEV accelerated. Full-digital buck DC-DC converter was used to transfer energy from the DC bus to super capacitor when HEV decelerated. DSP2812 is core of the system. Experimental results indicate that super capacitor and full-digital DC-DC converter can be used in HEV power storage system, which can improve energy using efficiency and decrease pollution emissions of the system greatly.
