Abstract
An analog transversal filter design technique is suggested. The design uses a positive polynomial to approximate the frequency magnitude specifications. The Chebyshev criterion is applied for the approximation, thus the design is equivalent to finding the Chebyshev solution of a set of linear overdetermined equations
