Screening effectiveness measurements of waveguides and accessories

The currently used test methods for measuring the screening effectiveness of waveguides has been reviewed together with a proposed new method. Preliminary test results have been obtained using three methods which indicate that the proposed new technique may be applicable for waveguides after further detailed studies and trials. It is the ultimate purpose of this work to produce an international IEC standard for testing the screening effectiveness of waveguides and waveguide assemblies
