Abstract
The GTS real-time bandwidth allocation strategy of IEEE 802.15.4 is modified, where query information from application layer in wireless sensor networks is used. To improve the system adaptability to randomly changed situations, this paper proposes an adaptive real-time bandwidth allocation strategy, which is data-query demand awared. The strategy is based on an optimization framework of reinforcement learning. Simulation results show that this strategy can improve the utility of real-time bandwidth, furthermore, this strategy can adapt to the change of query demands.
