Abstract :
This paper presents a computer code to obtain the propagation in open areas. The code implements an empirical formulation to perform the calculation. The main advantage of the code is that the data of the environment are taken from GoogleMaps allowing the calculation at any part of the world with an easy accessibility to the necessary data. Moreover, the code is applicable to both rural and urban areas. Some measurements have been performed in the Cologne (Germany) area to validate the code.
