Abstract
The design and operation of a high-speed residue number system (RNS) digital correlator is presented for implementing the correlation function in a real-time ultrasonic blood flow measurement system. This architecture allows for both high-speed processing and modular design that facilitates construction and testing. The architectural design of the RNS correlator is discussed, and an experimental wire-wrapped prototype that has been constructed for real-time laboratory verification is described
