Abstract :
This paper presents ACE/TAO real-time event channel (RTEC) as a middleware platform for enabling control and communication in the AUV test bed development. This paper focuses on the communication architecture in order to provide real-time data transfer among components at AUV test-bed within even channel pattern. By combining several services at RTEC like event scheduling and event filtering, data transfer can be threaded at different quality of services (QoS) to meet with system requirements.
