  • Abstract
This paper presents a proposal of a fuzzy analyzer of scenarios for the production sequencing (FASPS). The goal is to reduce the quantity of sequences to be simulated by the decision maker when no programmed events occur in the productive system, according to a defined performance criterion. The maximum quantity of generated sequences is calculated based on the available time to perform the simulation. The proposed model intends to support the use of simulation techniques by decision makers. The (FASPS) was implemented and various tests were performed, taking in consideration a specific flexible manufacturing model. The performance of the (FASPS) was analyzed and the results were compared with the simulated one. The comparison use the same test sets in accordance to the performance measurements previously established.
