  • Abstract
    The author addresses the status of CRT displays and identifies some significant trends. An overview of CRT applications is presented. Components such as electron guns, bulbs, screens and masks are discussed from the viewpoint of scientific improvements and equipment advances. Ergonomic advancements are noted, and concepts that have not been adopted are reviewed.<>
