Abstract
In this paper, the dielectric spectra of moist bentonitic clay in the range of frequencies from 0.2 GHz to 15 GHz and temperatures from -30degC to +25degC have been obtained. Based on these results, a dielectric model of frozen clay soil was proposed which allows for predicting complex dielectric permittivity as a function of frequency and temperature.
