Abstract :
To be effective in mine clearing action applications it is necessary to organize mine related data/geodata and give operators possibility to work with up-to-date topographic data. Quality control procedures have to be established along with the procedures for data collection. Therefore, the new mine information system has been developed for the Croatian Mine Action Centre using sophisticated geoinformation technology. The basis for this new system was existing data, new captured data and international standards dealing with geographic data and mine related data
