            Abstract :
Modulating reference current with a compensating ramp is a traditional method to stabilize the operation of the peak current-mode controlled DC/DC boost converter. In this paper, this method is applied to a PFC boost converter for gaining the stable operation target. Time-domain waveforms obtained by computer simulations are provided to illustrate the control results. Analytical investigations confirm the results achieved by simulations, and the control parameter can also be calculated or predicted assuring the stable operation of PFC boost converter
