Abstract :
At the present day, the wireless sensor network (WSN) technology is commonly uses in various fields and it has brought the change on our daily life style which we cannot be neglected. WSN commonly operates under IEEE 802.15.4 standard which provides a ease installation, reliable, low-cost, simple and flexible protocol among the inexpensive WSN devices. However, achieving minimum energy consumption for those devices still is a very important research issue. In this paper, we present a simple but practical algorithm which allows the transmission power control technique adaptively embedded in the IEEE 802.15.4 association process. This technique able to minimum the node´s energy consumed. Additionally, a simulation based experiment result is provided and highlights the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
