Abstract :
The problem of displaying Web information on small devices such as PDAs has been subject of great amount of research. The use of communication genre may contribute to the reduction of processing and memory burden as well as need for display space. Communication genre may also contribute to ease the access to information. It is in this context that we analyzed in what extent communication genres are employed by users to describe digital resources, to be displayed in PDA
