Abstract
In this paper, we present the further development of a hybrid car drive system model, which is modeled and simulated with Petri nets. The reliability aspects are the main extensions of this model. Based on the load analysis of the single components, the operational reliability of the hybrid car drive system and its components is calculated by the means of modeling and simulation. Thereby the merits of ECSPN and CSM in modelling multi-phased missions of complex, multistate and multi-component systems with age evolution based on time-dependent failure rates are shown. The influence of the hybrid car drive system configuration and the driver behavior on the operational reliability is presented.
