Abstract :
This work presents a compact new architecture of analog companding integrator for application in CMOS current-mode filters. Since MOS transistors are not constrained to operate in the weak inversion region, as in the log-domain counterparts, an improvement in frequency response and in signal-to-distortion ratio is verified.
