Abstract :
This paper provides improved results on robust stability condition for interval time-delay systems. Based on augmented Lyapunov functionals, some improved delay-range-dependent stability criteria are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The proposed approach involves neither free weighting matrices nor any model transformation, and it is shown that the new criteria can provide less conservative results than some existing ones. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness and the benefits of the proposed method.
