Abstract :
In this paper, semi-global finite-time observers are addressed for a class of MIMO nonlinear systems. The finite-time convergence of the estimation error is achieved by construction a homogeneous Lyapunov function and inequalities of it. Compared with the existed methods, our methods give the best possible lower bound of one of the design parameter. A numerical example is presented to show the validity of the proposed method.
