The strategy of smart home control system design based on wireless network

On the basis of putting forward the basic functions that intelligent home control system should have, this paper gives the whole framework of this system and selects a star network as its network topology first. Home gateway not only finishes the bridging function between external network and internal network but also undertakes the management of internal network and the initial setting of terminal node and prevents illegal access and intrusion of the outside world to home network and terminal node collects and uploads data and controls the working states of household appliances according to house owner´s commands. And then, it discusses the requirements of the system for hardware and software in design. And finally, it sums up the factors to be mainly considered in system design and realization based on the analysis of characteristics and deficiencies of traditional intelligent home control systems.
