            Abstract : 
Various nonlinear processes in photonic crystal fibers made from fused silica as well as from highly nonlinear glasses are studied, such as 3 octaves broad supercontinua from 0.06 nJ pulses by Cherenkov-like radiation and emission of higher-order solitons, four-wave mixing and stimulated Raman scattering.
