Abstract :
This research analyzes the adoption of RFID Systems in agriculture and food production where a facet of the industry modernization can be partly revealed. Binary log it analysis is used to identify those influential factors. Results of the regression analysis indicate that adoption is more likely by those who have already adopted integrated management systems and have a higher education level leader. And location presents some different adoption trends, while asset of a firm and the decision maker´s age and other logistics technologies application are not significant factors in the decision to adopt RFID as expected.
