Abstract :
A QoS-aware changeable working mode mechanism was proposed in this paper in order to enhance the networks performance when we combined ad hoc networks with ultra wide band technology. A concept called working mode was used to denote the coverage range and the data rate. One of the QoS index data rate was satisfied when we adapted the QoS-Aware Mechanism, which included working mode initialization, changeable working mode, Coverage Range/ Data Rate function, etc.
