Abstract :
A Postbeamformer Interference Canceler (PIC) cancels an interference impinging on an array of sensors by forming a signal beam and an interference beam. This paper presents a broadband PIC processor using the orthogonal interference beam, studies its performance in the presence of broadband directional sources by deriving analytical expression for output signal to noise ratio and presents examples to verify the theoretical results.
