  • Abstract
    In this paper, a distributed artificial life virtual environment framework is proposed and a partition method is introduced into the framework which provides an effective means for continuous observation of ldquoemergencerdquo features of numerous artificial individuals. To keep the consistence of the zonal virtual environment, a buffer region solution is discussed and a method of transforming local coordinate to world coordinate is provided. Finally, data transmission mechanism of the buffer region is designed to gain a seamless virtual world.
