Abstract :
We report, observation of both electromagnetically induced absorption (ElA) and electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) in sodium vapor in a single Raman spectrum. The sign of the of the coherent feature depends on whether the single-photon detuning favors four-wave mixing or coherent population trapping.
