Abstract
The paper deals with the problem of designing business rules (BR) for the business process modeling (BPM). It shows the role of knowledge in BPM and points out the issues that arise from the link between knowledge and the BPM. It presents the challenges of BR modeling, shows some disadvantages of existing and commonly used methods. As a solution, a method based on the XTT approach is outlined and discussed.
