Abstract
It is noted that an enterprise in today´s climate of rapidly changing technology must deal with the challenge of continual organizational and managerial adaptation and evolution to achieve goals. A practical method to describe and evaluate goals and structures and to deal with change is introduced. A framework model is used as a guide to planning, designing, monitoring, and controlling the evolution of a total system. Attention is also given to the use of IDEAL (integrated design, engineering, and analysis languages), a comprehensive methodology for describing, developing, and analyzing systems
