  • Abstract
    In this paper, a dynamic lighting control system for balancing light and shade in a full-scale private office is discussed. This system was developed to control the amount of indoor light by automatically adjusting the blinds and artificial lighting. Compared with previous work, the innovation of this system is the application of a fuzzy neural network and the feedback control of blinds turning. The fuzzy neural network is used to forecast the venetian blind turning angle. The angle feedback control is used to achieve the blind position with self-adaptive adjusting. The system was tested and verified in three different types of weather. The conclusion presented that the optimal angle of venetian blind operation and providing indoor visual comfort can be effectively controlled.
