  • Abstract
    A novel type of PLZT light valve fabricated by a green sheet process has been developed, and a prototype image projector incorporating this light valve was investigated. A PLZT matrix with internal electrodes was fabricated by a tape casting technique, and the feasibility of high definition was verified. The light valve exhibits no crosstalk-related problems, is easy to fabricate, and has a high-response speed.<>
