Abstract :
Selected frontier zone as a study area, based on the application of remote sensing monitoring and GIS spatial analysis, completed the study on landscape structure change and the space extension effect. The preliminary results indicate that: 1) woodland was the main landscape as the matrix, while the mountain´s lawn, dry land, paddy field, water area, and construction land etc. as the landscape´s patch or mosaic. 2) considered the characteristics of the different counties or cities´ contiguity along the frontier zone, according to the analysis on their land cover monitoring condition, this research demonstrated the landscape structure and pattern´s relative congregation and homogeneity in different counties or cities; 3) compared the land cover change in study period, we can get that, for seven kinds of landscape, four have increased, while the other three have decreased. Among them, mountain lawn had increased most greatly, the others were water area, dry land, construction land in turn; paddy field had decreased most greatly, the others were forest and unused land in turn. Moreover, based on field investigation, some problems were discovered and brought forward to emphasize on ecological function degradation and environment quality decrease during the landscapes change process; 4) integrated considered the different condition on natural environment, transport facility, policy management, since each county or city along frontier zone has different spatial extension resistance, there exits different space extension pattern in these counties. In general, those ports which have relative superiority natural environment condition, relative complete transportation facility condition, relative concentrated port distribution have smaller resistance, and their space extension effect is relatively greater, so, county or city with different location have obvious different space extension patterns.
