Abstract :
Random lasers are simplest miniature sources of stimulated emission without cavity. The developed model adequately describes the dependence of threshold pumping energy density versus radius of the pumped spot, which is experimentally obtained in Nd/sub 0.5/La/sub 0.5/Al/sub 3/(BO/sub 3/)/sub 4/ scattering ceramic.
