Abstract :
Due to the strong robustness and self-adaptive against parameter uncertainties and external disturbances, sliding mode control is widely used in Antilock Braking System(ABS).But the chattering problem in sliding mode control is one of the most handicaps for applying to real application. In this paper, an improved exponential approach law of variable structure control with sliding mode method was proposed, the drawback of control chattering occurred in the classical sliding mode control can be alleviated and the robustness of sliding mode control system can be improved. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method.
