Abstract :
The supplier selection decision in books render is usually made by multiple decision-makers after considering multiple attributes of the bidders. So a multi-attribute group decision-making approach was proposed for the books supplier selection. In the view of each member of the bid assessment committee, at first, the comprehensive evaluations on the tenderers were obtained by the technique for preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS). Then, a nonlinear integer programming model minimizing the deviations between the committeepsilas ordinal preferences and all individual ones of the suppliers was developed and transformed to an assignment problem to obtain the ranking results of the suppliers in the view of the committee. At last, an example was provided to illustrate the method. The comparison and analysis of this results show that this proposed method is rational, and it can improve the credibility of the bid assessment results and lay the foundation for improving the quality of the books procurement of libraries.
