  • Abstract
    In the present aging society, the insufficiency of doctors may cause the delay of medical treatment. Meanwhile, the increasing medical insurance expense becomes a great burden of society. Hence, the construction of a health-care robot which could provide a health-check at home is elaborated. In this paper, a construction approach of health-check system is proposed for the health-check function of a robot. Firstly, the vague concept of medical knowledge is quantified by using fuzzy sets. Secondly, based on the distance-type fuzzy reasoning method, a reasoning algorithm of health-check is built up. Furthermore, a health-check system is developed for the applications of promoting better lifestyles. Finally, the effectiveness of proposed methods is verified by some experiments of the health-check system
