Abstract
In order to solve the problem that the Desired Dynamic Equation(referred to as DDE) does not be applied to large time delay problem of the controlled plant, a new method which combines Smith predictor with DDE is proposed. It expands the use of DDE, using fruit fly algorithm based on the best ITAE index to the optimization of the parameter tuning, and is used to the control of typical industry large time delay plants. Simulation results show that the new structure gives better control to the large time delay plants than DDE in the optimization index.
