  • Abstract
    Based on a macroscopic continuum theory, it is predicted that coherent transverse acoustic (TA) phonons, i.e. shear waves, can be photoexcited by launching femtosecond laser pulse into the InGaN/GaN MQW with general crystal growth directions.
