Abstract :
We are in the age of computer and Internet but most of teaching is still performed in classical way. We speak a lot about new method of teaching and e-learning, which are connected with large investment. The expense for software we can reduce with use of free/open source software. That we don´t use it often is because we don´t know it and we fear from new things where we need to put some effort. In this paper free/open source software and movements in the world is presented. The benefits of using this software from primary school to university is shown
