Abstract :
Two gyrotrons FU CW GI and GII with an internal mode convertor to a Gaussian beam have been developed in Univ. Fukui. Oscillation modes have been carefully selected considering their coupling with electrons, compatibility with the convertors. Gaussian-like beams have been successfully observed from both gyrotrons.
