Abstract :
We have succeeded to induce huge near-infrared transparency by intense terahertz-wave excitation with 200kV/cm in the electric field. Ballistic acceleration of carriers should take place under the strong electric field and result in non-thermal carrier distribution of electrons and holes, giving rise to absorption saturation.
