Abstract :
In this panel paper, an attempt to understand the trends of the future of power engineering education worldwide is made through surveying graduate students and faculty members of power engineering programs in institutions outside North America. The scope and need for these surveys as well as the structure of the surveys are presented in this paper. The results of the survey and some metrics and statistics for the future trends in power engineering education is presented in the panel
