Abstract
We present spectral imaging results of osseous tissues obtained through terahertz time-domain transmission spectroscopy. The spectral response of composite bone tissues was investigated using pixel by pixel frequency-domain analysis. Comparisons of the time-domain and spectral characteristics were used to distinguish between regions of differing cellular type, mixed composition, and thickness.
