  • Abstract
This paper presents an investigation into receiver algorithms for multiple transmit and receiver systems. A simulation tool has been developed which uses powerful convolutional coding to optimise performance. A number of candidate receiver algorithms are tested to compare performance and complexity. The results show that space-time trellis coding performs best, but is associated with high complexity. A receiver based on minimum mean squared error beamforming is also found to perform well
