Abstract :
We present the design of a compact, tunable 395 GHz, 20 W gyrotron oscillator for application in Dynamic Nuclear Polarization-enhanced NMR experiments (DNP-NMR). The gyrotron is designed to work in an actively shielded NMR magnet, is tunable and provides >; 2W of power over a bandwidth of 1 GHz.
