Abstract :
We present measured terahertz radiation patterns from antennas made of low temperature grown gallium arsenide on semi-insulating gallium arsenide and low temperature grown gallium arsenide on high resistivity silicon. A strong dependence on the substrate used for the terahertz source can be shown.
